YWCA Central Alabama Holds Award Ceremony for Birmingham Pledge Poster Competition

The YWCA Central Alabama recently partnered with the Birmingham Pledge Foundation to sponsor the 2010 Birmingham Pledge poster contest. The contest is used as a period of renewed conversation around issues of race and prejudice. Martin Luther King Jr. Day was the official kick-off of the contest, which was limited to students in grades six-eight in the Birmingham City Schools.
