Join us for a Candlelight Vigil on Thursday, October 12 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Woodland Park, located at 24 Jack Fendley Dr, Oneonta, AL 35121, to remember those who have lost their lives to domestic violence and ignite the Central Alabama community to take action in ending the abuse together.

YWCA Central Alabama is observing Domestic Violence Awareness Month throughout October with a series of events, including this candlelight vigil. This year’s DVAM theme is Centering Survivors. We invite you to join us to hear from YW staff, a personal story from a domestic violence survivor, and reflections from local leaders on how they remain committed to ensuring the safety of victims and survivors of gender-based violence.
