In continuing our recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month by highlighting our domestic violence services (DVS) and our DVS staff members who assist in making these vital services available to our community, today we are spotlighting Carolyn Muhammad, SAIL (Special Assessment, Intervention & Liaison) Specialist and Victims Support Group Facilitator. In the video below, Muhammad talks about her passion for getting women back to independence and she shares a story about a client who achieved independence despite threats to her son’s life.
