YWCA Central Alabama presents Magic City Expressions: A YW Youth Summit from 12-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020.
The summit for social justice and racial equality features student expressions through performances, testimonies, spoken word, and a panel comprising students from The Altamont School and G.W. Carver, Homewood, John Carroll, Mountain Brook, and Ramsay high schools. Matthew Mugweru of The Altamont School hosts the summit, while Lauren Perry, also of Altamont, will moderate the panel discussion.
The free virtual event will include special performances by Red Mountain Theatre Company. Register now.
